3D Community
At The Well, our 3D Community provides the context for every member to grow in a shared life experience in Christ. Through small groups (3D groups) in this fellowship, each member becomes a vital part of our growing Christ-centered community.
We have intentionally not created predetermined programs for people to mold their lives around, but instead have chosen to equip people to live out the mission of the gospel in the context of a shared life in Christ. Our 3D Groups is where the shared life experience takes place. The groups have three key objectives:
- Develop community
- Demonstrate God’s love, and
- Deploy our gifts of service.
Our 3D Groups consist of:
Community Groups form around a specific neighborhood or area of the city that members of The Well share. These are missions groups with a desire to have gospel impact in that area of the city. In addition, the group desires to multiply and organically form new groups through training and discipline others to lead.
Interest Groups gather around a common passion, hobby, or social cause that member of The Well. These are highly missions groups that seek to turn a passion or a pastime into an avenue to both experience and express the gospel. They typically last for one season (i.e. summer, fall, winter), but can also span more than one season depending on the nature of the group.
Study Groups typically last for one season and undertake a focused study in God’s word or a book. These are little learning communities that are facilitated by a qualified teacher and are dynamic times of learning and growth.
