Our Practical Involvement

• Short-Term Teams and Individuals – We believe that short-term outreaches are an effective part of church planting, and can have a lasting impact both for the “receivers” and the “goers.”  We are grateful for the many people here at The Well who have participated in various ministries.  As a church, we will continue to coordinate short-term trips, specifically focusing on going to places/working with people who share our core values.
  
  
• Mid and Long-Term Workers – Our goal is to help identify, train and send out those among us whom God has called to live longer-term in other cultures as witnesses of the gospel.  We see this as a great honor and responsibility.
  
  
• The “Business as Mission” Movement – Business is a primary way of facilitating church planting, particularly in countries that are closed to traditional missionary work.  We want to actively work with church planting teams, connecting their vision for business projects with people in our church and network who have the skills, education, experience, or passion that can help make those projects happen.
  
  
• Social Justice – There are many critical issues facing the world today, AIDS and human trafficking being two of the most crucial.  As part of a Christ-following life, we believe that it is absolutely essential that we address these issues in ways that are practical and God-honoring.
