The Sanctuary Mind
By Mon'e Lewis
©2005

A mind that is constantly alert;
always watchful.
Thoughts not of the deep
But of the Most High.
A mind too deep to be shallow
yet not too high to be humbled.

Thoughts..
Exalted far beyond thoughts...
beyond.
Traveling through doors of the mind,
Entering dimensions
And experiencing close encounters
Of the 7th kind.

A mind in search of...
on a journey through pure thought.
The coming together of conscious & subconscious
as in a single thought.

A narrow train of thought that reaches abroad.
A symphony so heavenly,
angels whisper,
while the mind enters glory.

The mind of sanctuary,
resting in the presence of the Father of thought.

Life is joyless without the beautiful gift of outward expression; for it is sharing joy that makes it complete. Even grief and sorrow are better borne when shouldered together. The most splendid idea is fruitless until it is shared. This is what makes communication such a marvelous gift from God. From speech and song, to storytelling and social commentary, to poetry and parable, God has given us a powerful means of expressing ourselves as humans and reflecting Him as God. We invite you to share your own creative expressions and reflections by adding them to this living library.
