I Trust In Him

Desire is a fire
That burns mens souls of old,
Causing a collapse of morals,
Its a swirl, twirl,
feeling out of control.

Sinful like a fish
In water is all we know.
We are living like zombies.
Is there light, hope & peace?

I believe because He chose me
And you to fly high to the sky,
As a eagle soaring,
Guided by His breeze.
I can breath, exhale, inhale.

The weight on my chest
Like an elephant has been lifted.
I can walk, pace & run.
Like a marathoner I set pace,
escaped in the night
Traveling at speeds, through an alley.

In the darkness, brisk air feels my lungs.
I sense safety, calmness, peace!

People call you crazy!
I trust in Him!
I trust in Him!
I trust in Him!
There is no other that can satisfy me, us.
No true satisfaction with out HIM!

Life is joyless without the beautiful gift of outward expression; for it is sharing joy that makes it complete. Even grief and sorrow are better borne when shouldered together. The most splendid idea is fruitless until it is shared. This is what makes communication such a marvelous gift from God. From speech and song, to storytelling and social commentary, to poetry and parable, God has given us a powerful means of expressing ourselves as humans and reflecting Him as God. We invite you to share your own creative expressions and reflections by adding them to this living library.
