Eric Davis - Elder / Missions Pastor

I was born here in Portland Oregon in 1959 and am proud to call our fair city home. I am also proud to call The Well Church my home, having been here since it’s inception four years ago. My previous church experience lasted a brief 41 years and I praise God for each and every year with a family of believers who nurtured me in the Lord from a very young age. The Lord called me to church leadership in my early twenties and that call is still very fresh on my life as I do what I can to serve here at The Well. From an early age the Lord also gave me a passion for the culture and people of other nations. He has blessed me with the opportunity to have traveled to many nations to serve Him in the last twenty years.

In the last four years the Lord has done a deep work in my life exposing so many things in myself that were not pleasing to Him that I didn’t even realize were there. I am humbled by the recent realization of the meaning of Jesus words….” You did not choose Me, but I chose you to go and bear much fruit…” Wherever I am , whether working as a Store Director at Strohecker’s Market or sharing Christ in a distant land, I pray I would bear much fruit for His honor and glory.

I could not serve in the capacity that I do without the love and support of wonderful wife Annabella.” God brought Annabella to me from Guatemala 24 years ago and we recently celebrated 20 of those years as husband and wife.
